How to Annotate Pictures (Comments)

Great news! You can now annotate images that are taken during your inspection. This allows you to highlight key information by drawing lines, arrows, circles etc.

Follow the steps below to begin annotating:

1) Swipe left on the task and click 'Comment'.

2) Click on the camera to take a picture. You can also attach a previously taken photo by clicking on the paperclip icon (however these cannot be annotated in the app).

3) After capturing the image, a set of additional tools will become available (this happens automatically). If you do not see the additional annotation options, please update your app to the latest version. 

4) After selecting a colour and annotating your image (using your finger), click 'Attach' to add the image as a comment. From there, you can enter additional text information as you normally would.

5) Voila! Swipe back (or click the arrow at the top left) to return to the assessment form.
