Managing Action Items in the AuditApp
You can now view, comment on and close action items right from the AuditApp, with no need to switch to the web app. The new Actions Center shows every action item assigned to your location or locations, so you can follow up, share photo evidence and close items where the work happens.
In this article you’ll learn how to:
• Find and filter your action items
• Open an action and review its details
• Add comments and photos
• Close an action with closure evidence
Good to know: You’ll only see action items for the locations you’re assigned to. Anything you do on mobile shows up on the web app too.
Find your actions
Step 1: Open Actions Center
Tap the menu, then Actions center. It shows how many actions are open and how many are critical across the locations you have access to.

Step 2: Browse your action items
Each card shows the status, how late it is, the location, the assignee and the action type. Use Search to find a specific item.

Step 3: Filter the list
Tap Filter to set a due date range, hide overdue items, pick action types (AdHoc, Standard, Assessment), show critical only, or narrow by location and audit. Tap Apply.

Narrow it down
Step 4: Pick your locations
Covering several sites? Tick the locations you want to see, or use Select all / Clear all, then tap Ok.

Step 5: Open, Overdue & Closed
Tap a tab at the top to switch lists. Open shows every action still to be done, Overdue shows open actions past their due date (most urgent first), and Closed shows completed actions. The count on each tab tells you how many are in it.

Step 6: Open an action
Tap a card to see the full action: what needs doing, location, assignee, who created it, and the assessment, category and standard it came from. Insights show other open items at that location.

Comment & add photos
Step 7: Add a comment
Switch to the Comments tab, type your note and tap send. Everyone following the action sees the thread.

Step 8: Attach a photo
Tap the camera icon in the comment bar, then Choose from library or Take photo.

Step 9: Mark it up
Circle what matters with the drawing tools (red, teal, black or white). Use Clear to start over, then tap Attach.

Share the update
Step 10: Send it
Add an optional caption and tap send. The photo shows as ready to send until it posts.'

Step 11: Keep the thread going
Comments and photos appear in order with names and times. Tap any photo to open it full screen.

Step 12: Close the action
Once the fix is done, go to Details and tap Close action. A panel opens for closure evidence.

Close the loop
Step 13: Add closure evidence
Add up to 5 photos as proof for the next audit review, then tap Submit. The app uploads them and closes the action. If the auditor marked a photo as required, see the note at the end of this section.

Step 14: Confirm it's closed
The action now shows Closed with the date, the closure evidence and the comment count. If the issue comes back, tap Reopen Action.

Step 15: Find it under Closed
Closed actions move to the Closed tab, most recently closed first, so the record is always easy to find.

Photo required to close? If the auditor marked the action as needing a photo to close, the app prompts you to upload one before you can submit. This makes sure there’s always photo evidence on file, even if no photo was added in the comments.
