Action Plan Notifications
Want to ensure the right people are notified when an Action Plan is due, overdue, or updated? You're in the right place! You now have the powerful ability to configure Action Notifications, helping your team stay on track with reminders, updates, and due date alerts.
Please note: Action notifications depend on proper due dates and role assignments within each action plan. If you’re unsure how to configure these, we’re happy to help at help@meazureup.com!
Step 1: Accessing the 'Action Notifications' Tab
To begin, log in to your account and navigate to the 'Configuration' tab on the left-hand side. Then, click on 'Notifications'.
Once you're in the Notifications section, you’ll see multiple tabs, please proceed by selecting the 'Action Notifications' tab.
Step 2: Configuring Action Plan Due/Overdue Reminders
Within the Action Notifications tab, you’ll be able to create alerts based on when an action is due or overdue.
Here’s how:
Use the dropdown menu to select the role that should receive a reminder when an action is due in X days.
- Then, choose one or more roles to be notified when an action becomes overdue by X days.
Example: You can notify the ‘Owner’ role when an action is due in 1 day, and notify both ‘Auditor’ and ‘Owner’ roles if it becomes overdue by 1 day.
This ensures important follow-ups never slip through the cracks!
Step 3: Enabling Notifications for Action Updates
In addition to due-date reminders, you can also enable real-time alerts when updates occur on an action (such as a status change, a new comment, or other updates).
Under "Notify [role] when an update occurs", select the desired role(s) from the dropdown menu.
These update alerts help maintain visibility and keep key team members looped in on any changes made to an active action item.
Step 4: You're All Set!
Once you've configured the due, overdue, and update notifications, your settings will be saved automatically! Your team will now receive timely alerts, helping everyone stay informed and accountable.
